William J. Abeltin of Lincroft, N. J. , age 60, died suddenly on April 13, 2014 at Riverview Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
Son of the late Alfred and Marie (Tiernan), he was born January 16, 1954 in Brooklyn, NY. He was raised in Lynbrook, N.Y. and graduated from Manhattan College.   In 2006, he joined Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center as Director of Procurement.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Deborah (Buckley) and loving father of Jacqueline, Katherine, and Meagan; two brothers and two sisters; his cherished nephew Fran Caser and many nieces and nephews.  
A visitation will be held on Tuesday April 15, 2014 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9pm at the John E Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday April 16, 2014 at 10:30am at St Leo The Great RC Church in Lincroft. The interment will follow at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery Mausoleum in Middletown.
