My deepest sadness and condolences to Peter, Tony and Chris....and all the family.for your loss. You and Nellie were my adopted family and vice versa, all those years ago. What memories to treasure! Nellie was the most dynamic woman I have ever known, my best friend, sister and confidant during all those formative years, mine hers and yours. They were the Best Years of Life. She lived a hundred lifetimes during her early years....bursting with love of life, unbounded energy, and joy in raising her children, loving her boys, husband and family. As they say today, Living the Dream. I was truly blessed to have known her. Sad as this time is, tears aside, I only remember that Nellie was a force to behold and she lived her life so very Well. God bless you Nellie....and Thank you.
Love Never Dies....Tina, John, Sal & John......

Our deepest sympathy to the Lucas and Karatzia families. Nellie Lucas was a very special person. Fun loving, warm, caring, sincere, kind and had such a contagious smile and laugh. She was truly "one of a kind" and she will be missed. May God rest her soul and may her memory be eternal.

My deepest condolences to all of Nellie's family, who were my second family and my second home for many wonderful years of my youth. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Nellie, thank you for the many years of love, laughter, fun, and happiness. Of the many things you taught me, some of the most lasting are to live life to its fullest, treat everyone you meet with love and caring, and to live with fierce optimism. I'll always remember you the way you were in my youth: a ray of sunshine and warmth, a bundle of happiness and celebration of all of life's great things, most of all, family. This Jewish kid will always feel like a part of me is Greek, thanks to you and all the holidays spent at the Lucas house.
Yasou, Nellie. And thank you for all that you were to me and will always be.
Love,
Paul
