I worked with Charles at Bell Labs on the Telstar Project and also knew he and Jean as residents of Holmdel. We offer our condolences to the family.

Dear Jeffrey, Nancy & Joe,
It is so hard to know what to say.... I loved Uncle Charlie so very much and always have. I was just a very little girl when he and Aunt Jean started dating. They were the PERFECT couple and I think the model for Barbie and Ken! They were so perfect together and I always felt safe and loved around them. Through the years, we've kept in touch with each other and spoke often. We talked for about an hour, just before he was moved to the other hospital. He was always upbeat. He never missed a birthday or holiday....always sent me articles he found on FL and I'd send him ones I'd found about NJ. It was like a running joke of sorts. He helped me with the family tree too. I miss him terribly, as I know you do. He was one of a kind, a very special man and a wonderful uncle. He's in God's arms now and I'm sure he'll be watching over all of us. God bless and comfort you and all the others who loved Uncle Charlie. So long my dear Uncle.....until we meet again. Love, Sharon
