William A. Nempsey Jr.

Nempsey, William A. Jr. 59 of Leonardo, N.J. passed away peacefully on November 9, 2020 in Red Bank, N.J. He was born in Long Branch to the late William A. Sr. and Patricia Nempsey. William was a mechanic by trade but also pursued a variety of other professions including a valet for N.Y. Waterway, security of Seastreak Water Taxi and construction work. He enjoyed concerts, collecting sport cards, N.J. Devils, N.Y. Yankees and the Indianapolis Colts. Most of all, William enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

William is survived by his fiancé, Laurie; three sons, Matthew and his wife Melissa, Jeffrey and Eric; a brother, Frank Nempsey and three grandchildren, Sophia, Kylie and Addison.

There will be a visitation held on Friday November 13, 2020 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the John E. Day Funeral Home 85 Riverside Ave. Red Bank, N.J. Interment will be private.
