William Daniels

William Daniels, 77, of Red Bank passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 2nd.  He was born in Long Branch to the late Walter and Ethel Daniels. William grew up in Long Branch and then moved to Red Bank, where he worked at Riverview Medical Center for over 30 years before retiring.  He enjoyed karate, crabbing and fishing, and he was a collector. Most of all however, William loved spending time with his wife and family.

He was predeceased by his son William Ralph “Pookie” Daniels; his brother Sylvester Ellis and his two sisters; Hazel Evans and Marie Ellis.

Surviving is his loving wife of 50 years Joan Daniels; his son Kenny Daniels and his wife Eiko; his two brothers James and Raymond Daniels; his two sisters Katherine Ellis and Elaine Daniels; his 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and many other loving family members.

A visitation will be held at John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave, Red Bank on Monday, July 9th from 10-12 PM, followed by a funeral home service at 12 noon.
