Suzanne Hatfield

Suzanne Hatfield, 78, passed away at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank on May 18, 2021.

She was born in White Plains, NY to the late Robert S. Hatfield, Sr. and Roberta (nee: Sullivan) Hatfield.

Suzanne had lived in Tarrytown, NY before moving to Red Bank more than 40 years ago. She worked as a real estate/developer for Warncke Real Estate in Middletown for more than 30 years before retiring.

Suzanne will be remembered for her motherly nature to all of the neighborhood children, who after school would stop over her house to make cookies with her or have some hot cocoa. Suzanne was a beloved friend, neighbor and honorary mother to generations of children who lived in her neighborhood.  She was always a house or two away for those who still lived in the neighborhood, and a phone call away for anyone who left.  She will be enormously and immeasurably missed.

She is survived by her siblings and their spouses: Robert S. Hatfield, Jr. and his wife, Susan of OR; Molly DuPre and her husband, Michael of NC and Roberta Williamson and her husband, Alexander of GA as well as her nieces and nephews; her dear friends: Michael and Paula Dazio of Red Bank and her dog, Hazel.

All arrangements are private and under the direction of the John E. Day Funeral Home 85 Riverside Avenue Red Bank, NJ 07701.
