Susan Orme

Susan Orme, 63, of Long Branch passed away on April 17th, 2017 after a tough battle with cancer.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, best friend and confidant, Lauren; son Evan and her brothers George and Michael. Susan also leaves behind loving lifelong friends that were like sisters to her, Esther Rose and Bette Jo.
Susan was born in Point Pleasant to the late Eleanor and George. She went to St. Mary’s High School in Jersey City graduating in 1971, and then earned her Bachelor’s degree from Kean University. She enjoyed playing tennis, loved the beach and was devoted to her love of music. She didn’t miss the opportunity to see her favorite bands. Susan was an amazing cook and loved to be in the kitchen. Heaven gained a beautiful angel. Mommy, you will forever be on my mind and always in our hearts. I love you to the moon and back!!
A Life Celebration will be at the John E. Day Funeral Home 85 Riverside Ave. Red Bank, NJ on Thursday, April 27th from 4:00 – 8:00 pm with a chapel service at 7pm, St. James R.C. Ch. officiating. Interment will be private.
