Sarina “Renee” Carbone, 97, passed away on October 29, 2021 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank NJ.
Born in Connecticut, Renee grew up in Newark NJ where she met her husband Frank. In the early 1960’s they moved to Cranford NJ to raise their children. They retired to Boca Raton FL where they enjoyed many happy years.
Renee’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially cooking all of her Italian specialties for her loved ones. You couldn’t walk into her home without smelling something delicious on the stove. No one left the table without a second and third helping. She was also known to enjoy a “Renee Martini” after a long day of shopping for bargains.
She absolutely adored her Grandchildren, and they adored her back. She was so devoted to them that she became an avid college sports fan. On Saturdays during football season, she made sure to watch every game, and called everyone the next day so they knew she was cheering on their teams. She was delighted to become a Great Grandma, and doted on her Great Grandchildren.
Renee was predeceased in 2018 by Frank, her husband of 73 years. Surviving are her children, Richard and wife Nora, Steve and partner Karen, Marguerite and husband Robert, and daughter in law Nancy. Grandchildren, Carolyn, Craig and partner Ray, Bernadette, Kelly and husband Dave, Kim and husband Tim, Francis, Richard Jr and wife Kelly, Donnie, Kevin and wife Maggie. Great Grandchildren Maddie, Clara, Clark, and Emily.
A family celebration of Renee’s life will take place at a later date.
