Santi Alario

Santi Alario, 86, of Middletown passed away at home on March 20, 2018.  Santi was born in Palermo, Sicily to the late Carmello and Concetta (Caleca) Alario.

Santi was an accountant for Phibro-Salomon Inc. He enjoyed dancing, bowling, fishing and bocce ball.

Santi is survived by his beloved wife Gioconda (Fontana) Alario of 63 years, his loving daughters Concetta Mello and Dina Betancourt and her husband Ron.  Also, surviving are his adoring grandchildren Michael, Lisa, Christina, Mark and his great grandchild Ryan Mello.  Santi is predeceased by his brother Enzo Alario and his son in law Douglas Mello.

Visitation will be held at John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave, Red Bank, NJ on Friday,

March 23, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St.  James R.C. Church in Red Bank on Saturday March 24, 2018 at  10AM., with a interment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery & Mausoleum in Middletown.
