Ruth F. Burgener

Ruth F. Burgener, 87 of Little Silver, N.J. passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 10, 2022 with her family by her side. She was born in Trenton, N.J. to the late John and Ruth Franklin. Ruth had a successful and proud career as a teacher in the Trenton and Rumson, N.J. school systems. She enjoyed decorating cakes for all occasions, cross stitching and puzzles. Ruth admired all species of birds and light houses, but most of all she loved spending time with family and friends.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Donald J. Burgener (2019).
Ruth is survived by her three children, Donald J. Burgener, Jr. and his wife Yolanda, Margaret Burgener and Katherine Halwood and her husband James and five grandchildren, Phillip, Hannah, Joseph, John and Elizabeth.
There will be a funeral mass on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 11 AM at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Little Silver, N.J. The interment will immediately follow at the Ewing Cemetery in Ewing Township, N.J.
