Rosina Durso, 93, of Red Bank, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2018. She was born in Montano Antilia, Italy to the late Montano and Antonetta (Portolese) Scaniello. Rosina was an excellent cook who loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed knitting blankets for Birthright and other area hospitals.
She is predeceased by her husband Anthony in 2000 and her two sisters Maria and Josephine. She is survived by her three loving sons Lawrence Durso and wife Patricia, Montano Durso and wife Rosa and John Durso and wife Cynthia, her six cherished grandchildren Michael and wife Kelly, Joseph, Jennifer, Thomas, Steven, and Courtney, her great-grandson Dylan, her dear sister Paulina and her loving caregiver Olga.
Visitation will be held at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank, NJ 07701 on Wednesday May 30, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Leo’s RC Church on Thursday May 31, 2018 at 10:15 a.m. Entombment will follow at Fair View Mausoleum in Middletown.
