Robert J. Superti, 83, of Leonardo, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 20th. He was born to the late Pietro and Catherine (Palermo) Superti in Brooklyn in 1935, where he grew up and lived for 30 years before moving in to Monmouth County. Robert worked for AT&T for 37 years before he retired, but he always kept busy. He was a dedicated member of the Elks Lodge, an American Legion member, and most of all, a proud American. Robert proudly served his country in the US Army in 1960. He loved trips to Atlantic City, and very much enjoyed playing cards.
Robert is now reunited with his three beloved children: Brian, Kevin, and Neil. Surviving are his two sons: Michael of Red Bank, and Mark of Brooklyn; his two grandchildren: Brianna and Antoinette; and his long-time partner, Betty.
A visitation will be held at John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank on Thursday, October 25th, from 4-8pm, with a service by the Elks Lodge at 7pm. Disposition will be private.
