Robert W. Martin

 Robert Martin of Red Bank, NJ, passed away at home on March 14, 2023. He was 70 years old.
 
Born in New York City on  August 26, 1952, he was the son of the late Ann Travers and Walter Martin. He grew up in Bloomfield, NJ and was a graduate of Essex Catholic High school. After graduation, he worked in advertising in New York City as a production manager. In later years, he worked for American Color as a sales executive. 
 
An aficionado of motorcycles, sports cars and vintage guitars, Bob had an artist’s eye. In retirement, he developed an impressive photography portfolio, finding and shooting patterns in rusted metal, paint-splattered trash can interiors and other found objects. He loved books, movies and old school rock and roll. He will be sorely missed by those who loved him.
 
Bob leaves his son, Travers William Martin and his wife, Lesley, of Red Bank; three grandchildren, Enzo, Mackey and Olive Martin; his brother, William, of Torrance, California; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Ann and Walter, his sister Deborah and his beloved ex-wife, Judith Aumann Martin. 
 
A private memorial service will take place at a yet-to-be-determined date. In memory of Bob, the family asks you to donate to the charity of your choice.
