Robert J. Lamb

Robert J. Lamb (Bob), 95 of Manchester, NJ passed away peacefully at home with his children Kevin and Laura by his side on Tuesday, October 31, 2023.  Born in Brooklyn, NY to Amelia and Joseph F. Lamb.  He was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Joan Lamb.  Bob was a retired Superintendent at the NYC Transit Authority.  He loved travelling the world with his wife Joan, playing the piano, spending free time singing karaoke, and creating bird houses, hot plates, and trivets for his family.

He is survived by his two children, Laura Lamb-Susca and Kevin Lamb, his daughter and son in law, MaryAnn Lamb and Ron Susca, his seven grandchildren, Robert, Justin, Ryan, Briana, Mathew, Christopher, and Kaitlin.  He also recently became a great grandfather to Blake and Jaxon Susca.

There will be a visitation on Friday, November 3, 2023 from 4-8 PM at the John E. Day Funeral Home 85 Riverside Ave. Red Bank, N.J. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 10 AM at St. James RC Church in Red Bank, N.J. Interment to follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia, N.J.
