Richard Fuschetti, 83, of Little Silver, passed away on April 11, 2021. At his side were his wife and children. Born in Newark, N.J. and raised in Union, N.J. He graduated from Seton Hall Prep and also from the University of Miami with a degree in business and finance. He co-founded Paramount Metal Finishers, Inc. and Microcast Technologies with his brother Vincent Fuschetti. They worked together for more than 50 years.
He loved two things, fishing and the game of golf. He was a member of Deal Country Club for over 20 years.
Richard loved people, he loved talking, telling stories, and just plain enjoying everyone around him.
Surviving are his wife Barbara and best friend for over 60 years. His three children, Paula Thorogood and husband Patrick, Richard J. Fuschetti and wife Ann Margaret, and Steven Fuschetti and wife Kathy. Richard was predeceased by his parents, Michael Fuschetti and Pauline Fuschetti and also his brother Vincent Fuschetti.
One of his greatest joys were his seven grandchildren; he took so much pride in all of their accomplishments. They are: Michael and Brian Thorogood, Steven, Christopher, and Julie Fuschetti, and Ricky and Paul Fruschetti.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 14th, 2021, from 2 to 6 PM at John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, April 15th, 2021, 10 AM, at The Church of the Nativity, Fair Haven, NJ. Entombment to follow at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport.
