Paul Anthony Castro

Paul Anthony Castro, 63, of Hazlet, passed away on February 4, 2021 at Monmouth Medical Center. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to his loving parents Joseph and Frieda (Scali) Castro. Paul enjoyed golfing and watching horse races. He worked for Penguin Air Conditioning as an HVAC mechanic for 39 years retiring in 2019.

He is predeceased by his father, Joseph Castro and his father in law, Samuel Columbi. Surviving is his wife, Lori Columbi Castro, his children Jaclyn Castro and Eric Palmer, P.J Castro and his fiancé Aly Miller and Vincent Castro, his grandson Austin Sibbilin, his mother, Frieda Castro, his siblings Linda Castro and Larry Castro, his mother in law, Jean Columbi and his sister in law, Doreen and her husband Kevin Regan.

A visitation will be held at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave., Red Bank, NJ 07701 on Monday February 8, 2021 from 4 – 8 p.m. Cremation will be private and Paul’s cremated remains will be buried at Fair View Cemetery in Middletown. In lieu of flowers and to celebrate the sweeter things in life, please bring a dessert in Paul’s memory.
