Tribute

Patsy Francis Morreale, 92, passed away at the St. Louise Regional Hospital in Gilroy, California on December 20, 2018. He was born in New York, NY to the late Frank Morreale and Teresa (Papa) Morreale. Patsy served in the Navy during WWII and was proud to be a member of the Acorn 45 Unit. He dedicated his career to being the neighborhood barber most recent with Mikes’s Barber & Stylist Shop in Lincroft with his second family Mike Nesci, Michelle Hartman, and Barbara McDonald. Patsy enjoyed golfing and stopping at the pub to socialize with friends. He was known for his devotion to his family and friends, helping those in need and his entertaining personality. Patsy will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who were privileged to have known him. 

He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Delia, his infant son Bruce Morreale and his brother Vincent Morreale. He is survived by his three loving children Robert Morreale and his wife Marianna, Patricia Morreale-Hruby and her husband Laurence Hruby, and his youngest child Nancy Morreale, his cherished granddaughter Marissa Hruby, his two dear brothers Edward and his wife Venice Morreale and John and his wife Nancy Morreale, his sister-in-laws Jean Morreale and Rose Sayer, his companion Yolanda Rodriquez and his nieces and nephews Frank and Tammy Morreale, Lisa and Brian Quick, John Morreale Jr., Margie Madonia, Bobbie Hernandez, Nicole Morreale and Paul and Maureen Morreale. 

A service will be held at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank, NJ 07701 on Saturday January 5, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Middletown. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent in Patsy’s memory to Christian Brothers De La Salle Hall Retirement & Assisted Living Facility 810 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft NJ 07738.
