Pat Prestridge

Patricia “Pat” Prestridge (nee: Morris), of Hazlet, NJ, passed away peacefully on Christmas morning, surrounded by her loving family after a valiant and courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Paterson to Robert and Helen (La Vecchia) Morris, Pat graduated from Raritan High School and then went on to beautician school and worked as a hair dresser for many years. Pat also worked at Oyster Creek Power Plant and a local CPA firm as an Administrative Assistant before becoming a Mother and working part-time as a lunch aide at the Hazlet Middle School and as a custodian for Hazlet Township. An avid fan of the New York Rangers hockey team, Pat also enjoyed playing miniature club with her father, bowling, traveling, playing games and spending time with her family whom she loved dearly.
Predeceased by her loving parents, Robert and Helen Morris, Pat leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved husband, Tony, her cherished sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Nicole Prestridge and Steve and Jen Prestridge and her loving brother, Robert Morris.
Family and friends may gather Wednesday, December 29th from 2:00pm t0 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm, with a Service commencing at 8:00pm, at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank. Private cremation will follow.
