Tribute

Nunzio V. Verderese, 88, of Tinton Falls, formerly of Shadow Lake Village passed away Wednesday, October 24 with his family at his side.

He was born in Colliano, Italy to the late Carmine and Maria Filomena (nee: DelGrippo).

Nunzio proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He later became a manager of OTB in N.Y.C.

He is pre deceased by his beloved wife Claire in 2011 and his sister Angie Pilegrene in 2010.

Nunzio is survived by his loving children and their spouses Gina and Donald Barone, Stephen and Lynne and Robert and Mary. Also surviving are his dear grandchildren; Michael, Alexander, Daniel, R.J. and Ryan.

A celebration of his life will be TODAY, Friday, October 26th from 2:00 – 4:00 pm & 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the John E. Day Funeral Home 85 Riverside Ave. Red Bank, N.J. 07701. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:15 am Saturday, October 27th at St. Leo the Great R.C. Ch. with interment immediately following at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Chapel Hill Rd. Middletown, NJ.
