Norma L. Doxey

Norma L. Doxey, aged 78, died peacefully on October 11, 2017 at her home in Middletown surrounded by her family. Norma was born July 18, 1939, in New York City, NY, the daughter of Marie Bozzo.

Norma’s family and her grandchildren were everything to her. Prior to her retirement in 2008, Norma worked as an operations director at First Montauk Securities in Red Bank. She thoroughly enjoyed sports, especially playing golf and watching football. Norma was always someone who family and friends felt comfortable around and was the life of the party for so long.

Norma was predeceased by her mother, Marie Bozzo. Norma is survived by her daughter Kerry Ann Smeal her husband Tim, and her son Ray Doxey his wife Nichole. She is also survived by her two grandchildren Tanner and Camryn Doxey who were her pride and joy. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends.

A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, October 16, 2017 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at John E. Day Funeral Home in Red Bank, NJ. A memorial service will be given that evening at 7:30 p.m. at that location. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in her name to the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA, 02241.
