Ned Vuksanovich

Vuksanovich, Ned 78 of Hazlet, N.J. passed away peacefully with his family by his side on September 29, 2020. He was born in Croatia to the late Peter and Millie Vuksanovich and immigrated to the United States in 1961. He proudly served as a U. S. Merchant Marine for five years. Ned went on to become a longshoreman and was employed with the ILA for 35 years. He was a devoted family man, enjoyed the annual family vacations to Long Beach Island and Outer Banks, N.C. and most of all, Ned enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Della; three sons, David ( Brandi ), Paul ( Toni ) and Peter ( Laurie ); five granchldren, Carly, Paige, Paul, Ian and Jason; a brother, Michael ( Delia ) and three nephews, Michael, Mark, and Nik.

There will be a memorial gathering held on Thursday October 1, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the John E. Day Funeral Home 85 Riverside Ave. Red Bank, N.J. Interment will be private.
