Tribute

 

Marjorie E. Napolitano, 95 of Freehold, N.J. passed away peacefully on May 4, 2020 at Bartley Healthcare in Jackson.  She was born to the late Frances and Agnes Westphal in Jersey City, N.J.  Marjorie was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her friends and family.  She was most proud of being one the members of the WW II cultural icon, Rosie the Riveters which represented the women who worked in the factories and shipyards during that period of time in American history.  Later she found joy as a nanny for several children in the Monmouth County area. Hence, earning the affectionate nickname "Gram". She worked as a Shampoo Concierge at Just Hair, Oceanport and Salon Tactics, West Long Branch from the early 80's up through 2014. A giving soul to all "Gram" touched the lives of everyone who crossed her path, her laughter was contagious her smile could light up a room.  She will be dearly missed by friends and family.

 
Marjorie was predeceased her loving husband, Morris and her three brothers.  She is survived by her daughter, Laurajean Collier and husband, Morris; grandchildren Lauren Yeo, Shawn Collier (Samiyah) and Micheal Collier; great grandchildren Jakaia, Marcus, Jorden, Madison and Scarlet, and great-great grandchildren Sophia and Xavier.


All services are private and under the direction of the John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank, N.J.
