Marilyn Ann Lowing
August 12, 1934 - November 21, 2017

Marilyn Ann Lowing completed her life’s journey of 83 years and was lovingly guided into eternal life on November 21, 2017. She was born to Grace Oldham and Clare Powney in Sparta, Michigan. Although she left Michigan after marriage the family still made yearly trips back to see family and friends.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and traveling with friends. She lived a life of compassion and kindness, dropping whatever she was doing to help if you needed her. She always had a wonderful passion for sewing. While raising a family she worked in the interior decorating business. She owned The Drapery Nook in Shrewsbury and later worked as a drapery consultant for Sears. In the late 80’s she opened “Once Upon A Time” with her daughter Cindy later selling to her daughter Kathy. She loved that shop and everyone loved her being there.
Lynn was predeceased by her husband James Thomas Lowing in 2001. Living in Lincroft for 30 years they raised 4 children. They then retired in Tinton Falls. She is survived by their loving children Cindy Hubeny(Tom), Kathy Limyansky (John), Jim Lowing(Dianne), Tom Lowing (Chandler). She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Tyler and Connor Hubeny, Nicholas and Gregory Lowing, Matthew Lowing, Amy Krupa (Tim) and Johnathan Limyansky. She was blessed to have 3 great grandchildren Aidan, Zackary, and Ryan Krupa.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 9:15am at the Church of Saint Catharine, 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel 07733. Burial will be private. Please join the family after the mass for coffee and pastries at the church.
