Marianne Kissinger

Marianne Baker Kissinger, 85, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018, in Shrewsbury.

She was born in Chicago, IL to the late P. Joseph and Beatrice (McOwen) Bogner.

Marianne was as tough and loving as they come, a true old soul. Her sense of humor and laughter was contagious. Most of all, her sage advice, wisdom, and wittiness will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege to know her!

Marianne is predeceased by her siblings: Joseph Jr., Leonard, and Ellin.

She is survived by her sons: Joseph M. Baker, Keansburg; Michael J. Baker, Long Branch; and Matthew J. Baker, Long Branch. Her Grandchildren: Joseph M. Baker Jr. and Jacqueline M. Baker of Keansburg. Her Sister, Beatrice Dunn, and sister-in-law, Theresa Bjorkman. Step-son Richard and wife Lynne Kissinger, and their children Joseph and Jack.

A memorial gathering will be held at John E. Day funeral home in Red Bank, on Saturday March 3, 2018, from 12:00 to 4:00 pm, with a religious service at the funeral home at 3:00 pm.
