Jung Bun Yoo

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing, on March 31st, 2021, of Jung Bun Yoo, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who generously created a warm and welcoming home for all.

She was born in South Korea, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lee. Jung was a life-time resident of Ocean Township and a successful retail business owner. She loved her dog, Luna, and cherished time spent with family and friends, among them, the community of the Korean Church of New Jersey.

All who knew her felt blessed to be in her presence, and she will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jae Kap Yoo of 35 years and by her son, Ryong Yoo. She is survived by her son, Hyung Yoo and his wife, Cathy; by her daughter, Julie DiVuolo, and her husband, John.

Her six grandchildren Sunmi, Alexander, James, Mina, John Jae, and Janie will truly miss their caring, kind loving and nurturing “Granny Yoo”.

Visitation will be at John E. Day Funeral Home in Red Bank, NJ on Friday, April 2nd, 2021, from 4 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 10 AM with the interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Middletown, N.J.
