Judith A Koski, of Holmdel, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2022. Born in Jersey City, NJ, Judy lived most of her life there, where she graduated from St Aloysius High School prior to graduating from Drake Business College. For most of her career, Judy was employed by McGraw-Hill in New York City in the college textbook division and then for Business Week magazine as a financial analyst.
In her spare time, Judy loved to read novels and watch her favorite soap operas when she was not visiting Atlantic City with mom and dad. In her younger years, Judy enjoyed world traveling, sometimes with her good friend Alma, and sometimes with mom and dad. Her travels took her to various countries in Europe, such as France, England, Switzerland, and Italy, and also to Puerto Rico, Bermuda, Hawaii, and Las Vegas. She always loved to cook and crochet, and was awarded a medal from the Monmouth County Fair for one of her colorful afghans. She was a generous and loving person and was a regular communicant of St Al’s Church in Jersey City.
Judy was predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Gertrude Koski of Jersey City, and is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Richard and Antoinette Koski of Middletown, NJ, and her cherished niece and nephew Patricia and Matthew Koski.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 4-8 PM at the John Day Funeral Home in Red Bank, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 10 at St. James Catholic Church in Red Bank. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.
