For 12 years Joe and I were merchants on the same block in Red Bank and had a good friendship. He was a burst of good humor, sincerity, and a fellow of fine character. I will miss Joe very much and hope that his memory will be for a blessing to all who knew him.

Mary and Mary: I was stunned to just now learn of Joe's passing. We have been neighbors for just over 35 years and you guys have always been great neighbors. Also, Joe was our family jeweler, have created a number of pieces for our family and most recently, for my son Darryl and his fiancé' upcoming wedding. One thing I always liked about joe was his willingness to share his knowledge of his industry and his passion for the business. The energy and animation with which he presented his thoughts was magnetizing and caught one's attention. I will miss Joe, but will remember him because of the lessons learned from him and the beautiful pieces of jewelry he helped me and my family acquire. May his soul rest in piece. I pray for your comfort and support as you continue your lives.

Charles Hughes.

I first met Joe 40 years ago when I answered an ad for a job in his store. I worked full time for him for 13 1/2 years. I left when I married and had my first child but continued to return frequently to help out around the store. He taught me so much about the jewelry business. I remember the stories he told that made me laugh. Joe started out my boss but soon became my life long friend. I will miss you Joe, the world will not be the same without you.

Joe and I met in the 3rd grade in Linden, NJ. We have been friends for the last 63 years. There have been times where we didn't see each other with college and the military but we have always reconected. Joe was very proud of his military service and was an officer and a gentleman. To say he was proud of his daughter would be an understatement. Mary Elise you were loved. I will miss Joe and his kind and loving ways. Now and forever..yor fried. Rich Wiegers

For over 25 years we've spoken with Joe daily about: business, politics, his pride in his daughter and her accomplishments, and his love for his family. We will sincerely miss our buddy. Rest In Peace Joe.

Dear Mary and Mary. I am so saddened by the passing of your husband/father. I have many fond memories of him. I would visit him often whenever I was in Red Bank and passing by his Jewelry Store. He was never too busy to chat with me and share stories about his wife working and his daughter running and competing in High School and her journey through college and overseas experiences. I am thankful that I have had the opportunity to know your dad and his wonderful family. I am so sorry for your loss and my thoughts and prayers go out to you both and your family.
With Deepest Sympathy,
Pat Pellegrino
