Janet Giannandrea

Giannandrea, Janet, 84, passed away at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank on September 14, 2022.
 
She was born and raised in Staten Island, NY to the late Harry and Marion (Grey) Minarik and moved with Carmen to Middletown in 1961 to start a family.
 
Janet worked as a clerk for Shrewsbury State Bank. She loved the Senior Center in Middletown, playing Mahjong with her friends there as well as knitting. Most of all, she loved her family and spending time with them.
 
She is predeceased by her parents; her husband, Carmen Giannandrea; her sister, Joyce Minarik and her daughter in law, Sally Giannandrea.
 
Surviving are her children and their spouses: Debra and Howard Ryerson of Middletown and Frank and Cherie Giannandrea of Cinnaminson; her three sisters: Marion Florio of NY, Harriet Andres of AZ and Rosemarie Karr of GA; four grandchildren: Andrea and Jacob Ryerson and Joe and Helen Giannandrea and her beloved dog, Cooper.
 
Visitation will take place on Sunday September 18, 2022 from 4-8PM at the John E. Day Funeral Home 85 Riverside Avenue Red Bank, NJ 07701.
 
A final goodbye will take place at the funeral home on Monday September 19, 2022 at 10:30AM with a procession going to Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Middletown for burial and a committal service.
