Jane Hughes

Jane Hughes, 90, passed away at Brandywine in Colts Neck on January 11, 2021. 

She was born in Jersey City to the late Vincent and Catherine (Gardner) Mazzarisi. 

She started her career in the toy industry at Mattel, was the owner and Senior VP at Janex Inc. Toy Company, and ended her career in real estate. She was a member of the Monmouth Beach Bath and Tennis Club where she enjoyed playing tennis and was a talented bridge player. She was an avid reader, loved boating along the eastern seaboard stopping at various destinations along the way. She traveled the world to Hong Kong where she had a manufacturing plant, Hawaii where she owned a penthouse, Europe, Philippines and many other destinations. 

She is predeceased by her parents and her brother, James T. Mazzarisi. 

Surviving is her nephew, James G. Mazzarisi and wife Tara, great-nephew Justin Mazzarisi; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Thomas Godfrey; sister-in-law, Frances Mazzarisi; many cousins including Patricia Tackney and Megan Policastro; along with close friends.
