Henry was born March 12, 1929 in Bloomfield NJ, son of Henry and Gladys Raemsch.
Henry was married to Eleanore Peralt Raemsch, whom he adored in a marriage that flourished for 68 years. They raised five children and instilled in all of them the true meaning of family, unconditional love and support for one another. He is survived by his five children and their supportive spouses; daughters,  Denise, Jennifer, Sandra, Lisa and son  Andrew.

Henry was the adored grandfather his ten grandchildren, Alexandra, Morgan, Ian, Dominique, Ethan, Danielle, Tyler, Devin,  William, and Phillip.

Henry graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute before starting his professional career working as a junior designer with Herman Litwack Architecture firm. After beginning his architectural career, Henry enlisted in the United States Army achieving the rank of Major during his deployment in the Korean War. Upon returning home Henry continued his pursuit and passion for architecture, working for firms such as IM Pei Architecture Group and for the Real Estate Department of JP Morgan Investment Management in NY. He worked in the architectural field for over 40 years achieving high recognition and accolades for his work.

Henry encapsulated the "American Dream" as it is known today. He was an admirable man who understood that determination and taking risks would lead to success in all aspects of life. While he was extremely industrious, Henry also knew how to have fun outside of work, evidenced by his love and passion for music and dancing. He encouraged achievement but more importantly showed that pursuing passions brought true excitement and joy to the journey of life. He was an unparalleled role model for everyone on how to achieve and live a meaningful life.
Henry never missed an opportunity to speak positively, crack a joke, smile, dance and sing, even during his last days as he entered eternal rest.
