George O. Dean

George O. Dean 80, passed away at home on March 17, 2017. He was born in Cumberland County, Virginia to the late Otis Dean and Caroline (Blanton). George was employed as a Mason in the Construction Industry. He was a loyal servant of Jehovah serving as an Elder. He loved fishing and drag racing, but George’s greatest love was spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

George is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years Juanita (Wheeler) Dean, his loving sons Anthony O. Dean, Derrick G. Dean (Lana), Brian Dean, his adoring grandchildren Damian, Shania, Terrence, Brittany, Devin, Kianna, 10 great grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews. Also, his brother Clarence Dean(Ruth), and sisters Iretta Holmes(Henry), Carolyn Carson.

Visitation will take place at the John E. Day Funeral Home - 85 Riverside Avenue Red Bank, NJ 07701 on Thursday March 23, 2017 from 11 AM to 1PM with a Service talk at 1 PM to 1:30 PM. Interment to follow at Monmouth Memorial Park in Neptune. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in George’s memory to a charity of your choice.
