Tribute

Elizabeth Rose Annarella, 89, passed peacefully on January 10, 2021. Born and raised in Latrobe, PA, Elizabeth married and moved to Little Silver, NJ to start her family. Eventually, Elizabeth moved to Middletown, NJ where she lived for over 50 years. For Elizabeth, family came first. She had unwavering support for her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren - never having missed a sporting event, concert or play over the many decades. Elizabeth was an active member of the PTA having participated in several educational programs for local schools.

Elizabeth loved to cook and bake. She would never show up anywhere empty handed. Her generosity and thoughtfulness were her trademarks. She was also known for her collection of hats, rarely seen out on the town without one!

Elizabeth was an avid golfer, a proud member at Navesink Country Club as well as Navesink’s Nine Hole Ladies group: she having won the coveted Navesink Trophy for golf in 1982. Elizabeth was also an accomplished bowler having been on several NJ leagues. She loved the thrill of winning, spending time in both Atlantic City and Las Vegas at slot machines with her friends and family and could also be found at the local church bingo hall. She enjoyed travel and the excitement that new places would bring.

Elizabeth was a proud member of the St. Ann’s Society and a devoted parishioner at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in Red Bank, NJ. She was very active in her community and her sincere kindness and zest for life will be greatly missed.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Anna Bialon of Latrobe, PA, all of her brothers - John, Joseph, Stanley, George and Anthony, all of her sisters - Mary, Rose, Sophia, Victoria, Cecelia and Katherine, as well as her husband, R. James Annarella of Jupiter, FL. Surviving are her loving children, Elaine Annarella of Middletown, NJ, Joan Annarella and Timothy Test of Cape Canaveral, FL, James and Kelly Annarella of Rumson, NJ , Michele Annarella and Jeffrey Rinn of Robbinsville NJ, her grandchildren, Valerie Burke of Tequesta, FL, Christopher and Megan Burke of Middletown NJ, Caroline Annarella of Rumson NJ, Brooke Annarella of Rumson, NJ and her great grandchildren Bryanna Schucker of Tequesta FL, Ashley Schucker of Tequesta, FL, and Dylan Burke of Middletown, NJ.
