Edwin Austin Pomphrey, passed away on April 21, 2017 in Long Branch.

Austin was a graduate of Rumson Fair Haven High School ‘06 and the University of South Carolina ’10 with a business degree in Risk Management & Insurance. He was partner with his father in E.L. Pomphrey, LLC a local painting & construction company.
Austin was always a kind, compassionate and generous person throughout his life to anyone who knew him. He had a good heart and cared deeply for his family and friends. Since he was a young boy, Austin combined his keen business savvy along with his entrepreneurial spirit venturing into various business opportunities- as an adult he extended his investments into real estate and beyond. Austin was an avid and enthusiastic NY Jets and SC Gamecock fan. Austin prided himself in his accomplishments, but his biggest of all was being a sincere and adoring loving son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. He will be so unbearably missed by us all.
