Edward R. Zampella

Edward R. Zampella, 77, of Middletown, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022. Predeceased by his parents, Edward F. and Maria Lee Zampella. Survived by his daughter, Carole Lee Chiego and husband James, his grandchildren, Dominick and Jaclyn Chiego, his brother, Arthur F. Zampella and wife Susan, and his niece and nephew, Melissa Morano and Michael Zampella. Edward retired as a CPA, having had practices in Jersey City and Clark.

Family and friends may visit Sunday, January 23rd, 2-5pm at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, January 24th at 10:00am at Mary, Mother of God Church in Middletown. Entombment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Middletown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edward’s memory to the Monmouth SPCA, 260 Wall Street, Eatontown, NJ 07724.
