Musto, Edward M., Sr. of Red Bank, N.J. and formerly of Mountainside, NJ passed away peacefully at home on January 31, 2020. He was born to the late Louis and Ethel Musto in North Bergen, N.J. Edward proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army and graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University where he studied electrical engineering. He worked for his entire professional life at AT&T where he retired in 1996 as a distinguished member of their technical staff. For many years Edward was an active member at the Zion Lutheran Church in Clark, N.J., where he served in a leadership capacity. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Edward was predeceased by his sister, Ella Wagner. He is survived and will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 65 years, Ethel (nee Seringer); three children: Edward M. Musto, Jr. and his wife Janet, Robert Musto and his wife Mary Ann, and Nancy Musto Harley; seven grandchildren: Rachel and her husband Kurt Schwarz, Daniel Musto, P.J. Harley and his wife Anastasia, Jacob Musto, Nicole Musto, Sydney Harley, and Sophia Musto; and four great-grandchildren: Kaleb, Emme, Otto, and Roman.
There will be a memorial service at The Atrium at Navesink Harbor on Sunday, February 16th at 3pm.
