Edward T. Darby Jr.

Edward T. Darby Jr.“Ted” 44, Fair Haven passed away on April 30, 2018 in Neptune. He was born and grew up in Jersey City to Edward T. Darby Sr. and Teresita R. Darby.

He was a big movie buff and an avid sports fan. He was a very dedicated father, son, brother and uncle.

Ted was predeceased by his mother Teresita R. Darby. He is survived by his beloved father Edward T. Darby Sr., his loving children Taylor Ransaw, Tyler Ransaw, Tahj Ransaw and their mother La’Shelle Ransaw. Also, his brother John P. Darby (Paula); his sister Marianne Pane (Emilio) and his nieces and nephews Anthony, Ginevra, Angello, Matteo, Alexa, Eliana and Luca along with many extended family members.

Visitation will be held at John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave, Red Bank, NJ on Friday May 4, 2018 from 2 – 4 PM and 7 – 9 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday May 5, 2018 at 11:30 AM at Church of the Nativity, Fair Haven with cremation to follow.
