Dorothy Beryl Diamond

Dorothy Beryl Diamond, 96, of Red Bank, passed away on November 7, 2020 at her home. She was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Nathan and Sophie (Fischer) Turin. In the late 1950’s, Dorothy and her family moved from Queens, NY to settle in Monmouth County, NJ. Throughout her life, Dorothy was very active in many organizations, including the Sisterhood, B’nai B’rith and served as Committeewoman at the Red Bank polls for many years. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband of 70 years, Saul Diamond and her daughter, Ellin Cohen. Surviving is her daughter, Nancy Rubinstein, her son in law, Fred Cohen, her grandchildren, Seth and his wife Debra Cohen and Erica and her husband David Rechtweg, and her great grandchildren, Ari and Zoe Rechtweg and Chloe and Noah Cohen.

Burial will be held at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge on Monday November 9, 2020.
