Doris G Schubel

Doris G. Schubel, 94, of Shrewsbury passed away peacefully at home on December 29. She was born to the late James Kenneth Crowell and Helen (Horter) D’Arcy in Newark, NJ on December 16th, 1923. She called many places home, and resided in Lincroft and Shadow Lake Village before moving to Shrewsbury.
Doris was a member of Tower Hill First Presbyterian Church at Red Bank. She enjoyed decorating and was an avid Doll Collector. Most of all however, Doris loved her family.
She was predeceased by her husband John Joseph Schubel and her daughter Doreen S. Yochum.
Surviving are her children: John and Sandra Schubel of Newark, DE, and Gail and James McDonald of Port Charlotte, FL.; her sisters: Gloria Lisec of California, and Helen D’Arcy of St. Louis, MO.; her six loving Grandchildren; and her 9 beloved Great-Grandchildren.
