Donald David Kirk, 64, of Atlantic Highlands passed away on Sunday, April 22. He was born in Kearny to the late Donald and Diane (Masterton) Kirk. Donald also resided in both Gilbert and Scottsdale, AZ before settling in Atlantic Highlands for the past 10 years.
Donald was a dedicated & technically proficient engineer; he managed projects for Bruns-Pak Enterprises. An avid lover of being on the water, Donald’s favorite way to spend his time was by the sea, surfcasting the day away.
Donald leaves behind his children Allison and Ryan Russell of Point Pleasant, Brian Kirk of Phoenix, AZ; his two brothers Wayne and his wife Lisa Kirk of Darlington, MD, and Doug and his wife Linda of Forked River; four beloved grandchildren Kyle, Olivia, Madelyn, and Ryan; 4 nieces, 2 nephews, 2 great nephews and his loving companion Linda Noll.
A memorial gathering will be held at John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, from 6-8pm on Wednesday, April 25 and from 10am-12pm on Thursday, April 26, with a service at 11:30am.
