Diane Emilie Wolfe

Diane Emilie Wolfe of Little Silver, passed peacefully on Sunday, December 6, 2020. Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of Edward W. Large and Emilie Goodlow Large. She married her husband of 51 years, John (“Jerry”) Wolfe, in 1970, and they settled in eastern Monmouth County NJ, initially in Rumson, then in Shrewsbury, then spending the last 20 years in Little Silver.

Diane worked in executive support. Although she was an accomplished secretary, time away from the office was time she cherished – time spent with family and many dear friends. An intelligent woman, she loved watching “Jeopardy.” She was a member of the St. James Roman Catholic Church community of Red Bank.

Diane was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her husband, John, by her daughter, Laura Diane Carter and ddson-in-law Jon Carter, and her grand-daughter, Dana Emilie Ruset; also by her brother, David Large and nephew, David Edward Large, and her many wonderful friends and extended family.

Visitation will be held at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue in Red Bank, on Friday, December 11th, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a gift in Diane’s memory to the Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall Street, Eatontown, NJ 07724
