Delia Walsh

Delia Walsh, 92, of Red Bank, formerly of Howell Township passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on November 13, 2021.  Delia was born on October 16, 1929 in The Bronx, NY to the late Martin and Johanna (nee: Broderick) Kenrick. 

A beautiful soul, dedicated and loving mother, wife, grandmother, Delia was know for her kind and gifted spirit as well as her Irish Soda Bread and crochet masterpieces.
 
Delia is predeceased by her parents, Martin and Johanna, her husband of 47 years, Martin E. Walsh, her son, Edward Walsh and her siblings, James Kenrick, Margaret Hartmann, and Josephine O’Bierne. 
 
Surviving Delia are her children, Martin G. Walsh and wife Linda of Red Bank, Mary Crevi of Ridgewood, her five grandchildren; Tara Walsh, Michael Walsh, Brian Crevi, Katherine Rendeen, Alison Crevi, and her three great-grandchildren; Johanna and Jack Wilcox and Patrick Rendeen.
 
Friends and family may gather on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021 from 4 PM to 7 PM at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank, NJ.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 17 at St. James RC Church, Red Bank, time to be announced.  Burial will immediately follow at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood, NJ.  Memories and condolences may be shared at www.johnedayfuneralhome.com
