Christina Marie Reme

Christina Marie Reme, 44, passed away at home in New Egypt on May 5, 2021. She previously lived in Middletown before marrying and moving to New Egypt. She was born to the late Robert and Margaret (Efhin) Jaros in Livingston. Christina attended Monmouth University in West Long Branch and received her Bachelor’s degree in education and psychology. She was a communicant of Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church in Holmdel. Christina was a homemaker who loved baking and cooking, but she enjoyed spending time with her husband and children most of all.

Surviving is her husband, Mark E. Reme and her children, Nicholas and Ashley as well as her sisters and their spouses: Jennifer and Dan and Marian and Kenny and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held at John E. Day Funeral Home 85 Riverside Avenue Red Bank, NJ 07701 on Sunday May 9, 2021 from 2 pm to 6 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church 20 Hillcrest Road Holmdel, NJ 07733 on Monday May 10, 2021 at 10am with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Middletown, N.J. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent in Christina’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN. 38101-9908.
