Christina Rose Flatley

Christina (Chris) Rose Flatley, 90, of Middletown, NJ and formerly of Deerfield Beach, FL and Belford, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, June 16, 2017 in the company of her children at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. She was born in Jersey City, NJ and graduated from Snyder High School. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years, Thomas J. Flatley and by her brother, Salvatore.

Surviving are her children and their spouses: Thomas and Joyce Flatley, Christina Flatley, John and Barbara Flatley and Joseph Flatley; her siblings and their partners: Arky Schifano and Susan, and Sandy Schifano and Dyana; and her 3 beloved grandchildren: Jan, Samantha and Conor.

Chris loved her children and grandchildren. She loved to cook, dance and sing. She was a founding member of the Middletown Elks Lodge 2179 and an active local volunteer.

Visitation will take place at the John E. Day Funeral Home 85 Riverside Avenue Red Bank, NJ on Tuesday June 20, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Mary’s RC Chapel in New Monmouth on Wednesday June 21, 2017 at 10:30AM.
