Celestina "Tina" Angiuli (Giornalista)

Celestina “Tina” Angiuli (Giornalista), 77, passed away on Aug. 23 in Eatontown, New Jersey. She was born in Bari, Italy on Nov. 2, 1942, to the late Biagio and Rosa (Colapietro) Angiuli.

Celestina enjoyed cooking, long walks, and time with her friends and family. She was loved by many for her kindness, sense of humor, feistiness, caring nature, and her delicious food and penchant for sharing it. She was deeply religious and attended church regularly.

Celestina is predeceased by her sister Maria (Angiuli) Giornalista. She is survived by her children Sebastiano “Nino” Giornalista of Riverside, California; Giovanni “John” Giornalista of Old Bridge, New Jersey; Luigi Giornalista of Neptune City, New Jersey; Anthony and Kristine Giornalista of Madison, Wisconsin; and Rosanna Giornalista of Astoria, New York.

She will be missed by her siblings, Antonietta, Pasqua “Lina,” Saverio “Frank,” Filomena “Nuccia,” and Giuseppina “Pina,” in addition to two grandchildren, Angela Giornalista and Samantha Giornalista, and her nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. James RC Church in Red Bank on Thursday August 27, 2020 at 10AM with interment of ashes following at Mt. Olivet mausoleum in Middletown.
