Cecilia A. Terranova

Cecilia A. Terranova, 77 of Middletown, N.J. passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, July 14, 2021.  She was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado to the late Michael and Leonora Palomba Giordano.  Cecilia wore many hats in her lifetime as a home maker, hair stylist, business owner, realtor, cook and spiritual advisor but most important to her was family, friends and her devotion to church and God.  She was an active communicant at St. James R.C. Church where she served as a Carmelite – 2nd order. She was also devoted to Divine Mercy and her love for music led her to become a distinguished St. Ann’s choir member for many years.

Cecilia is predeceased by her husband, Ferdinando; son, Fredric and two sisters, Carole Blasucci and Dorothea Coyle.

She is survived by her son, Joseph; two daughters, Christele Terranova-Beam and Michele Terranova-Rezzonico; sister, Leonora Salerno-Bossie; twelve grandchildren, Danielle, John Michael, Christele, Gabriela, Louis, Brianna, Fredric, Perry Michael, Samuel, Jacob, Tristan, Madison and many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

There will be a visitation on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 6-8 PM at the John E. Day Funeral Home 85 Riverside Ave. Red Bank, N.J.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 11:15 AM at St. James R.C. Church in Red Bank. Entombment to follow at Mt. Olivet Mausoleum in Middletown, N.J.
