Barry M Papp

Barry Papp age 59 passed peacefully at home on Oct 21 after a long battle with Cancer. Barry was raised in N. Arlington NJ before moving to Bridgewater and ultimately Long Branch. He graduated with a horticulture degree from Bergen County Vo-tech and established himself as a hardworking and respected gardener and landscape virtuoso whose loyal customers, many of whom became friends, relied on his expertise.  He enjoyed traveling and had an incredible love of the outdoors which was acquired through the many summers spent at the family’s summer home in Sussex County. He logged countless miles hiking and swimming throughout the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation area as well as the Adirondacks. His uncanny ability to remember past events right down to the day of occurrence made him the family historian. He is survived by the Artist Mary Angers, his companion of 29 years, his Brothers Allan of Bridgewater NJ, Timothy of Denville NJ, Thomas of Bridgewater NJ, and Sister Kathy Papp of Newport R.I.  Nephews Glenn, Rory, Liam, Colin, Luke, and Aiden as well as Nieces Leah & Kaitlyn Nanartowich and is predeceased by his parents Raymond and Jacqueline, His Brother Robert, and Nephew Devin.
