Barbara Ann Germek

Barbara Ann Germek 82, passed away on October 24, 2017 in Neptune. She was born and raised in Perth Amboy to the late Peter Bosko and Victoria (Topolski). After graduating from Perth Amboy High School, she moved to Menlo Park for a few years, but then became a 25-year resident of Linden before finally retiring to Middletown in 2010.

Barbara was an Administrative Assistant for GAF in Linden for 20 years. Her deep loves included her many rescued shelter dogs, and her beautiful grandchildren.

Barbara was predeceased by her sister Patricia Morecraft, her brother Peter Bosko and her loving companion Frank Serago. She is survived by her beloved son George P. Germek and her loving daughter-in-law Pamela. Also, surviving are her adoring grandchildren Julianna and Matthew, and her loving dog Coco.

Visitation will be held at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank, NJ on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Catharine’s RC Church, 108 Middletown Road in Holmdel on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 9:15 AM. Burial will follow at St. Stephens Cemetery, 65 St. Stephens Ave, Keasbey, NJ.   In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to http://www.aspca.org, or to its local chapter in Eatontown, NJ.
