Aroxy K. Parigian, 96, of Colts Neck, passed away on April 9, 2021. She was born in New York, NY to the late Paul and Heripsime (nee Pazoumian) Kermizian.
Roxy was the prettiest girl in Bound Brook New Jersey, where she lived with her mother and father and brother until she married Berge. They moved to Newark New Jersey, where she immediately became the prettiest girl in Newark. While her physical beauty was obvious to all, her inner beauty was unparalleled! To everyone who knew her, she was the kindest, warmest, most gracious and graceful person. Her children and grandchildren adored her.
Roxy had the ability to simultaneously run a business, Parigian Carpet Co. with Berge while creating and maintaining the happiest household for her family. She made friends for life and was admired and respected by all. Roxy was truly one of a kind and will be deeply missed by family and friends alike.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Berge Parigian in 2015, and her brother, Vahe Kermizian. She is survived by her loving children; Kathy and her husband Stephen, George and his wife Abby, Thomas and his wife Jennifer and her cherished grandchildren, Sabina, Berge, Sara and Halle as well as close cousins, nieces and nephews.
A burial will take place at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ on Mon April 19th. a Memorial Mass will be held at St. Stepanos Armenian Church in Elberon, NJ at a later date followed by a celebration of life party. Date TBD.
All arrangements are under the direction of the John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank, NJ.
