Anne DeMatteis

Anne DeMatteis, 91, of Red Bank, passed away on August 23, 2017 at home. She was born in New York City to the late Domenico Capotorto and Rosa Caricato. Anne was a top rated real estate agent in New Jersey for many years.

She is predeceased by her loving husband, Augusto (“Gus”), who died in 2004.

Surviving is her brother, Daniel Capotorto, her nephews, Daniel, David, and Carl Capotorto; her nieces, Maria Capotorto, Eva Sommese, Rosette Capotorto, Christine Capotorto D’Orio, and Carla Capotorto; and great nieces and nephews, Sophia Capotorto Weiss, Monte Zizzo, Mia Sommese, Roma Capotorto, Anthony, Christina, Deanna & Angela Diorio, and Rosalia & Vincent Vasquez; and great great nieces Carmella Rose Bruno and Violet Nova Goddell.

Visitation will be held at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank, NJ 07701 on Sunday August 27, 2017 from 3-7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony’s RC Church on Monday August 28, 2017 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
