Albert A. Monaco

Albert A. Monaco, 86, passed away on January 19, 2021 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. He was born in NYC, NY to the late Fredrick and Sara (Lopardo) Monaco and he had been a lifelong resident of Matawan. Albert worked for 25 years for Pitney-Bowes as a sales person and he had many hobbies such as: dancing, bowling and golfing. He loved animals as well as both college and pro football and was a JETS fan. He also proudly served our country in the Army during the Korean War and he was a very proud veteran.

Albert is predeceased by his parents and his son in law, Timothy Leo.

Surviving is his wife of 60 years, Barbara (Bustamante) Monaco of Matawan; his children and son in law:  Albert “Butch” Monaco of NC, Kim and Kevin Wetmore of Toms River and Karin Leo of Matawan; his sister, Marie Armenta of CA and his three grandchildren: Kelsey and Kevin “Buddy” Wetmore and Albert “A.J.” Leo.

All arrangements are private and under the direction of the John E. Day Funeral Home 85 Riverside Avenue Red Bank, NJ 07701.
